Welcome to the Vancouver Korean Pickleball Club ("we", "us", or "our"). We operate the Vancouver Korean Pickleball Club mobile application (the "App"), available on iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our App.

By downloading and using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. Please read it carefully.

2 Information We Collect

When you register or participate through the App, we collect only the following personal information:

We do not collect payment information, location data, device identifiers, or any other personal data beyond what is listed above.

3 How We Use Your Information

Your personal information is used exclusively for organizing club events, including:

• Registering you for pickleball games, tournaments, and club gatherings
• Sending event reminders, schedule changes, and cancellation notices
• Communicating club news and announcements relevant to members
• Coordinating group activities and court reservations

4 Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Your information may only be accessed in the following limited circumstances:

• By club organizers and administrators solely to coordinate events
• When required by law (e.g., in response to a valid court order or legal process)
• To protect the safety of our members if we believe disclosure is necessary

No data is shared with advertisers, data brokers, analytics companies, or any external organization for commercial purposes.

5 Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as you remain an active club member or until you request deletion. When your information is no longer needed, it is securely deleted from our systems.

6 Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Deletion — request that we delete your personal data at any time
• Withdrawal — stop using the App and have your data removed upon request

7 Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Access to member data is restricted to authorized club administrators only.

While no system is completely secure, we are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of the information you trust us with.

8 Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page and notify members via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

10 Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, including the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA, BC) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
